This is one product with a name that is spot on. It does not rub off unless you give it a good go with make-up remover. Combine it with Urban Decay Primer Potion and I think you might just have to peel your skin off to get rid of it. Why get aggressive with hard eye-liners when you can have one that glides on like butter on toast? The colours are intense and vibrant and they show up very well on coloured skin. As a make-up artist, this will be very handy for ethnic make-up looks, especially with Asian Bridals. Use it as an eyeshadow base, as a shadow on its own or as an eye-liner.

The liners retail individually at £13.00/$18.00 so with this set you get £195/$270 worth of eyeliners for 1/3rd of the price.

I just cannot think of anyway to fault this product and I recommend everyone runs to their local retailer to grab this bargain because I doubt it will last very long.

Just be careful when taking the cap off the pencil so you don’t break the tip.

The Edward Bess line only launched last July in UK. I wouldn’t say these eye shadows are something to go gaga over. They are just OK, perfect for those who love neutral shades. The shadows come in a nice suede pouch and the box has a mini applicator and a mirror included, quite handy for on-the-go touch ups. The swatches above are with a bit of eye primer underneath to enhance the colours. The shades suit my dark skin tone just fine and I can see myself creating a nude-y type look with them. These are shimmery in nature but are not as pigmented as some other eye shadows I’ve tried. You need a good few layers to get the colours out but overall, they will get the job done. The price is a little on the high side for what you get but this will certainly appeal to those who love looking made-up without the make-up, if you know what I mean.

Is this worth buying?- only if it is your piece of cake. I certainly would not recommend this to the make-up artist, unless there is a particular shade you are after that no one else in the world has.

Comments: These lipsticks are awesome. They are highly pigmented and very hydrating too. They glide on like lip balms and will easily last up to 4 hours without any extra lasting techniques.

Too many chemicals in this one make it likely to end up in my reserve drawer. I am not a fan of whatever fragrance has ben put in there and at £21, this is not something you would just walk into a store and pick up. It’s Chanel though, no surprises there. Paris is the shade Sandra Bullock was wearing at the 82nd Academy Awards.

Paul & Joe blotting paper has  always been high quality and I expect this to be no different. It comes with a mirror and will make a nice accessory in any purse. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a brown girl, but the lip treatment sticks are so sheer. The colour hardly shows up. If you are a die hard Alice fan then go ahead and get this, just for the packaging. It is gorgeous and the blotting paper case can be refilled permanently. You can use the tin to store other stuff too.

I saw the Alice in Wonderland 3D movie. It was good, quite unpredictable to say the least.

Comments: This has to be one of the best make-up removers out there. After reading the petroleum loaded ingredients, I wondered how this thing would work. It has absolutely no fragrance/scent and despite it being called a cream, it is a clear jelly-like substance.

All you need is a damp cotton pad to use it. You apply a little bit of the product with your finger on the eyelid (or wherever) and wipe off with the damp cotton. It instantly removes everything and unlike most make-up removers, it does not leave that after feeling of tightness (like one very popular wipe) or dry the skin out (as most liquid removers do). There is no need to worry about the effect of using petroleum products on your skin because you should use a cleanser next.

The formulation means it is not messy at all, it is a fixed jelly and will not pour/leak/dry out. It is very portable too. I really can’t find where to fault this and at £4.95, you may want to consider adding this to your collection ASAP, unless you are allergic to petroleum products.
